Capital and most populous city in the country of Australia, Sydney is located on the south east coast of the Tasman Sea. With a population of over 4.5 million people, Sydney is a well known city in the world of travel. About Sydney
Divided into smaller regions the area of Sydney is made up of the following areas:
- Inner Sydney – This area includes small shops and boutiques, nightclubs, pubs as well as art, shops and restaurants.
- Sydney City – Busy commercial hub. Includes many of the areas most well known historical sites, museums and parks. Also home to many department stores, bars and fine restaurants and shops includes the Sydney Opera House and Hyde Park.
- Sydney East – The Beach including Bondi Beach, South Head, Nielsen Park and Watsons Bay.
- Sydney North – Family destinations including Luna Park, Ku-ring-gai National Park the Taronga Zoo and Manly Oceanworld are found in this area of Sydney
- Sydney South – Dramatic views are part of this area of Sydney including Botany Bay National Park, Royal National Park. Aside from being rich in natural history sites, historical sites and activities are common in this area.
- Sydney West – Historical sites and wildlife are abundant here including the Windsor Heritage Walk as well as the Featherdale Wildlife Park and the historic Parramatta.
